ELIUD MBUTHIA WAHOME, SSP (RTD), HSC.

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Eliud Mbuthia Wahome, SSP (rtd), HSC, which occurred on January 10th, 2025, after a short illness.

Eliud was born to Cornelius Wahome (late) and Joyce Macharia (late).

He was a loving husband to Charity Karambu Mbuthia and father to Najma Kathure Mwanzi (Gift Baskets Kenya) and Capt.

Faiz Ali Mwanzi (Kenya Airways), Joy Mbuthia (Jelani Designs Ltd), Dr. Nickcy Mbuthia (Kenyatta University), the late Doreen Muthoni, and Ngina Mbuthia (Mount Kenya Ewaso Water Partnership).

Brother of the late John Kamau, Harrison Macharia, Nancy Nyaruai (late), Stephen Githinji (late), Patrick Gachanja, Richard Mureithi, Njoki Macleod, Jane Kanyi, Margaret Kahoro, Rose Ngatiari, Agnes Gitahi (late), Betty Macharia, Purity Mwangi, John Macharia, Bridgitte Hansen, Faustine Kamuya, Oscar Mutahi and Mildred Wambui Waciuri (Late), Wanjiru, Kinyua (late), Wambui, Nyaguthii, Muthoni, James, Karige, Hannah, Mwendia, and Wangari.

Son-in-law of Frederick Mathiu Imanene (late) and Florence Imanene (late).

Beloved brother-in-law of the late Ephantus Kimaita and Julia Muthoni, the late Onesmus Murithi and Wangechi Murithi, Alex Ndubi, Dorcas Muthoni, Al Amin Kimathi, the late Frederick Mugo and Miriam Wanja, David Wambugu and the late Lucy Kanyua, Macharia Nderitu and Letty Macharia, Ron Imanene, and Wairimu Imanene.

Eliud was a proud grandfather of Sidney Mbuthia, Farida Ndunge, Jade Karambu, Ali Malekya, Ibrahim Mbuthia, Sonia Kathure, and Zenna Karambu.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his Kimathaga Naromoru home from 3:00 pm and at St. Andrews Church, Nairobi from 5:00 pm.

A memorial service is planned for Thursday, 16th January 2025 at Our Lady Queen of Peace, South B at 2:00 pm.

The cortege will leave Nanyuki Cottage Hospital at 9:00 a.m. on January 18th, 2025, for burial at his home in Kiamathaga, Naromoru (next to Naromoru Boys High School).
