ELIUD NDIRANGU MATIRU

It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the untimely demise of Eliud Ndirangu Matiru, that occurred on 27/09/2024 at the M.P. Shah Hospital, after a short illness bravely borne.

He was the beloved husband of Jennifer Nyokabi Matiru, father of Brenda Wanjiru (CiiruB) Ndirangu, Victoria (VickyD) Nyambura Ndirangu, Roselyne Njeri and grandfather of Kevina, Lexie, Cora, Muiruri and many others. 

He was son of the late Rtd Elder Gad Matiru Ndirangu and Rtd Elder Margaret Wanjiru Matiru.

Son-in-law of the late Mwalimu George Muthanji and Margaret Muthanji.

Brother of William and Rachel Muiruri, Lucy Matiru (USA), the Late Grace Matiru and Rhoda and George Mbugua Gachichio.

Brother-in-law of Nelly and Cllr Kinyanjui Kimani and Gerald and Joyce Mungai. Beloved Cousin of the Gathoga’s and Muiruri Gatoto family. An uncle to many. 

Family and friends will be meeting daily at P.C.E.A. ST. Andrew’s Church Nairobi, from Monday 30/09/2024 to Wednesday 2/10/2024 at 5.30pm to 7.30pm and at his home in Kagaa.

The cortège leaves Montezuma Funeral home Mbagathi Way, at 7.00am on Friday 4/10/2024.

The funeral service will be held at P.C.E.A KIBATHITHI Church, Kagaa, Githunguri, followed by interment at his Camden Yards farm Kibathithi.
