Life ebbs and flows. Elizabeth Nyambura Mburu sung her last earthly hymn on 16th July, 2023. She leaves behind a blessed quiver full!

Wife of the late; Hon.Wilfred Mburu Kimani. Mother of the late John & Muthoni Nuttall;Alfred & Marsha Kimani; Salome & Isaac Gitoho; Jane & Kiragu Kimani, and Njuguna Mburu. Grandmother of Josh & Jake Nuttall; Nadia & Aggrey Moyi; Natalie Kimani, Benjamin & Muthoni Gitoho; Mburu Njoroge; Nyambura, Wangari & Muthoni Kiragu; Reuben, Rebekah, Daniel & Jeremiah (Jeymo) Njuguna. Great-grandmother of Zahari & Eliana Gitoho, and Marika &Valentine Mburu.

Daughter to the late Daniel and late Wanjiru Kiragu. Sister of the late Peter Mwangi Kiragu, Jacinta Nyambura, Veronica Gathoni, Agatha Wanjiku Francis Mwangi, Wambui wa Musa, Maria Nyambura, Luka Mwangi, Elizabeth Wanjiru, Ruth Muthoni, Jacinta Nyambura, Joseph Migwi, Jane Kagure, Boniface Maina,Alice Waithira, Kageni. Tata and Mwalimu Beth to many.

The body lies at Kenyatta Memorial Funeral Home (Kenyatta University Teaching and Referral Hospital on the Northern By-pass), in preparation for her last journey to her final resting place in Ruona, Kandara, Muranga County on Tuesday, 25th July, 2023. The cortege leaves at 8.00am, for a mass at St. Maria Goretti, Ruona Catholic Church.
