ELIZABETH WANGECI NDEGWA

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will and with grateful hearts that we announce the promotion to glory of Elizabeth Wangeci Ndegwa on 8 th July, 2024.

Beloved wife of the late Samuel Ndegwa Mugo. 

Co-wife of Fridah Wangui and the late Virginia Nyambura. Elizabeth was the daughter of the late Ezekiel Chomba and the late Agnes Waithira (Waitaga).

She was sister of the late Hesbon Mwangi, Priscilla Wanjiku Marugu, the late Francis Mburu and Mary Wanjiru Karanja.

Elizabeth was a doting Mother of Milton Mugo (Emjay Consultants), Catherine Wangeci & Jane Wanjiru, Mary Wangui, Agnes Waithira, Ruth Wanjiru & the late Stephen Maina, Dr.Priscilla Wanjiku ( Kenyatta University), Carrie Njeri (State Department For ICT) & Gichaga Kagecha, Judy Nyambura, Ezekiel Chomba, Felix Mwangi (Emjay Consultants) & Gladys Wairimu, Asenath Wambui (Oxfam) & Ezekiel Kiprono.

She was a loving step-mother of many, doting grandmother of Ndegwa, Liz, Githiomi, Irungu, Gathoni, Kui, Jebet, Wangeci, Marvin among others, great grandmother of Rosh, Mugo, Maina, Ciru among others.

Family and friends are meeting daily at the All Saints Cathedral and at her home in Kamunyaka Village.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Mortuary (Thika road) on Saturday 20/07/2024 at 8:00am.

Thereafter the requiem service will be held at Kamunyaka Kiumu Primary school from 10:30am followed by the final rites at her home in Kamunyaka Village, Gatanga Sub-county, Muranga County.

Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord, they will rest from their labour, for their deeds will follow them – Rev 14:13.

May our mum’s soul rest in eternal peace.
