ELIZABETH WANJIKU KAMAU (WANJIKU WA WANGI)

It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden passing on of Ms. Elizabeth Wanjiku Kamau (Wanjiku Wa Wangi/Wa-Susie), which occurred on 27th July, 2020 at the Nairobi Hospital. She hailed from Karura Sublocation, Kihara, Kiambaa in Kiambu County.

She was the third born child of the Late Dedan Kamau Koibitah (Wangi) and Late Jedidah Wathua Kamau. Sister of Judy Muthoni (Gatundu town), the late Samuel Kiarie, the late Margaret Wanjiru, the late Susan-Salome Nyamathwe and Agnes Wamaitha Kimani (Banana town). Mother of Susan Wathua, Samuel Njoroge, Judy Muthoni (TSC) and Miriam Wanjiru. Also mother of Dedan Kamau Nyamathwe, Samuel Kiairie Nyamathwe (Seattle, USA) and Jedidah Wathua Nyamathwe.

Mother-in-law of Juma Mwanyolo (Taita Taveta County Assembly), Josephine Kabura, Jemimah Muthoni and James Clarke. Aunt of Willie, Dedan, Jeddy, Kiaries, Wathuas, Wambui, Wanjiku, Mungai, Mbugua, Muthoni, Kabiru, Makumi, Wanjiru and many others. Grandmother of Njoroge Jnr (Gashoroge), Wang’ang’a, Wainaina, Mau, and Ciku; Kiarie Tatwes; Kevin (KK), Melissa,Arnani & Lenana; Juana & Amanda, Steveray-Jacob & Nathan and Tamia and many others.

The Family is meeting daily at her home in Karura sublocation, Kihara Location, Kiambu County.

The cortege will leave Lee Funeral Home on Friday, July 31st 2020 at 9.00 am for interment at her home thereafter. Due to the prevailing Government restrictions on public gatherings, the meetings and the funeral ceremony will be restricted to family members and close friends.
