Loving wife of the late Elijah Elly Maina. The second born child of the late AIlam Gathumbi and Patricia Wambui. Sister of the late Wanjeri, the late Erastus Maina, Prof. Peter Karuri, Sarah Nyawira, Rose Wangeci and Hellen Muthoni. Sister-in-law of the late Margaret Gachui, the late Justus Mwangi, the late Joseph Muchiri, Charity Wanjiru amongst others. Mother of the late Charles, Lucy (UK), Nancy (UK), Newton, Pauline (UK), Leonard (UK) and Susan (Germany). Grandmother of Ronald, Natasha (UK), Vanessa (UK), Aliana (UK), Danny (UK), Ryan, Jayden (UK), Jeremiah (Germany), Joanne (Germany), Paul, Trisha, Ethan and Jeremy. Great grandmother of Sevana, Moh and Nyla. Mother-in-law of Naomi, Nessia (UK) and Oliver (Germany).Auntie of many.

Her body arrives from the UK tomorrow Saturday.

Funeral meetings are ongoing at Tumaini House, behind Kencom from 5.00pm and Kianjege West, Kirinyaga County.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home (Thika Road) on Friday 28th February 2020 at 7.30 a.m for funeral service and burial at her home Kianjege West village, Kariti location,K irinyaga County.
