ELVIS BABU OGOLA

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden passing away of our beloved son, Elvis Babu Ogola, which occurred in Jacksonville, Florida, USA on the 16th of October, 2021.

Son of Mr and Mrs Joshua Aoko Ogola and Herine Ogola of Bugo Village, Kogweno Oriang’ location, Karachuonyo constituency, Homa Bay County. Father of Kira Ogola. Grandson of the late Ogola Onguru and the late Pesila Ongere and the late Solomon Agwati and Margaret Agwati of Kamuma Sub-location, Oyugis. His other grandparents are the late Mbuya Openda, Samson Onguru, Boaz Ongus, Grace Onguru and the late Peninah Mbuya.

Brother of Carol Akinyi (Queen) of Antwerp, Belgium, Allen Ogola, Larry Ogola and Lorraine Ogola. Nephew of Sam (Amisi) Ogola, Millicent Ogola, the late Charles Ogola, the late Eli Ogola, Killion Ogola, Maurice Ogola, ulie Ogola, Angeline Ogola, the late Hezron Abeka and the late Jane Abeka, Helen Ochieng, Maurice Agwati, Tom Agwati, William Wanjira, Solomon Ondili, Killion Onyango, the late Tom Ochieng, Trufena Agono, Zilpa Abok, Esther Amolo, Salome Atieno, Grace Akoth, the late Elizabeth Akumu, Margaret Atieno, (Kadogo), John Ogola Ondiegi, James Tindi, Olivia Onguru, Valerie Onguru, Chichi Onguru, the late Felida Sande, Gladys Onyach, Rose Odawa, the late Mary Otieno, Grace Aomos Trufena Togo, Susan Odindo, Maritha Ogada, the late Rispa Bach, Helen Otieno, Lisa Awino, the late Musa Mbuya, Ogola Mbuya, Moses Ongus, Alvas Onguru, Javan Onguru, Oscar Onguru, Agure and Otieno Koleta, among others.

Family and friends are meeting is Sunday the 7th of November, 2021, at 3.00pm, for a mini harambee at his parents’ home in Golden Gate Estate South B Nairobi, to raise funds to fly his body home for burial. There will be a final fund raising harambee on the 21st of November, 2021.

Burial will be held on Friday 26th November 2021, at Bugo Village, Kogweno Oriang’.
