EMILY GATHONI MUURU

It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Emily Gathoni Muuru, formerlly of Telkom Kenya which occurred on 17th August 2020 after a short illness.

She was the daughter of the late Robert Muuru and the late Florence Wagikuyu of Ndumberi, Kiambu. Beloved sister to the late Margaret Wanjeri Mukima, Sarah Wanjiku Gachau, the late Naomi Wairimu Kinyanjui, the late Esther Wambui Mugogo, James Kiambuthi Muuru, Stanley Ngure Muuru, Jerusha Wanjiru Muuru and George Gitau Muuru. Sister in law to Michael Mukima, Peter Boro Gachau, Daniel Kinyanjui Gikonyo, Peter Mugogo Gitau, Priscilla Wanjiru Kiambuthi, Grace Wanjiru Ngure, John Ngugi and the late Rachel Warigia Gitau. She was a loving auntie to several nieces and nephews

Friends and relatives are meeting daily for funeral arrangements at Kiserian, Gichagi from 2:00 p.m.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home on Friday, 21st August 2020 at 8:30 a.m, followed by the funeral service and burial at her home in Kiserian.
