ENG. JAMES OCHIENG OWADE

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of Eng. James Ochieng Owade who passed away in a Nakuru hospital on Friday 25th September 2020. Until his death, James was the Director of Roads and Transport —Nakuru County Government

He was the son of Raphael Owade and Pereskilla Owade of Karachuonyo Kokoth. Son in-law to Maurice Ojwacka Arwa and Hilda Akoth Ojwacka of Sakwa Got Abiero. He leaves behind a loving wife, Valentine Awuor Ochieng- (HIT with TSC), daughters Quintet Ojwacka, Nimi Natalie (Strathmore), Hazel Ida Ochieng (Nova Pioneer), Nicole Adhiambo Ochieng (Christ the King Primary) He was brother to Joseph Okumu, Samuel Ooko, Late Jenipher Atieno, Late Pamela Akinyi. Florence Achieng Odhiambo,Tom Mboya Owade, Richard Owade and Millie Owade Muriittii He was brother in-law to Nelly Okumu, Mary Oda), Elizabeth Mboya, Christine Odhiambo, George Muriithi, Caro Ojwacka, Daisy Ojwacka, Edmunds Ojwacka, Eunice Ojwacka, late Nancy, Maureen Achar, Randy Ojwacka, Lisa Ojwacka, Late Gill Okada, Julie Ojwacka, Salrna Ojwacka, Nyangi Ojwacka, Peter Arwa (CDF Uyoma), Julius Onyango, Phelisha Ojwacka and Lucy Ojwacka, Selly Jagero, Ann Songa. He was also an uncle to many.

Funeral Planning Committee, friends and family are meeting at his Kiamunyi residence, Nakuru every evening from 4pm.

The body will be removed from Umash Funeral Home on Thursday 1st October2020 for a brief Memorial and thanks-giving service at 10am in Kiamunyi Secondary School (School’s ground). The cortege is then to leave for Homabay same day for burial on Friday 2nd October 2020 at his home in Rambusi village, Kakaeta S/location, North Kanyamwa Location.
