Beloved husband, father and grandfather

It is with profound sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Engineer John Joseph Ogolla on 25th September 2023, in Nairobi.

Engineer Ogolla was a loving husband to Clementine Ogolla; devoted son of the late Elijah and Kathorina Ngowe; a caring father to Gregory and Irene Ogolla, Dr. Denis Ogolla, Charles and Ruth Ogolla, Edward and Chilombo Ogolla, Stephen Ogolla, Dr. Michelle and Peter Kisare, Jean Ogolla, Arnold and Sheila Ogolla; a proud grandfather to Jordan, Bradley, Natalie, Audrey, Anne, Marwa, Asante, Jabali, John, Nathan, Adrian, Austin, Kimba, and Arthur.

He was a dear brother to Margaret Ojwang, Salome Yogo (late), Symprose Ngowe, Hon. Henry Obade, Juliana Akinyi, Jacinta Guda, Akumu Ngowe (tate), Maurice Otieno (late), Samuel Abwogo, Silpa Achieng, Akoth Ngowe, and Tom Odhiambo

He was also a respected brother-in-law to John Yogo (late), Dr Mary Obade, Colleta and Solomon Oriaro, Floriana and George Ogola, Ambrose Juma (late) and Penina Juma, Vincent Marienga (late) and Jane Marienga, Judith and Tom Dudi, Caroline Achieng (late), Rose Marienga, Lady Justice Maureen Onyango, Charles Marienga, Ohando Marienga, Collins Marienga, Andrew Marienga, among others. John was also a beloved uncle to many

We take solace in the memories and lessons Engineer Ogotta Imparted on us. And while his physical presence is no longer among us, his spirit and legacy will forever be etched in our hearts
