It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden death of Eng. Julius Kibet Maritim through a tragic road accident that occurred on 2nd February, 2022 in Eldoret.
Son of the late Paul Busienei and Celestine Busienei (Kaprobeen) of Barekeiwet village Nandi County. Husband to Purity Kagendo Maritim (BCLB). Father to Mitchelle Maritim (KU), Emmanuel Kiptum (Meru Sch.), Blessings Kipkoech (Josnah Pri.).
Brother to Lucy, James, Oscar (Australia), Hilary (TSC), Wilson (KPC), Vincent AHITI), Daniel (AMPATH) and Rosemary (USA). Brother-in-law to Shadrack, Lorna (County Government of Uasin Gishu), Emily (Australia), Monica, Gloria, Rose, Nancy and Lawrence (USA).
Son-in-law to Michael Mukindia Riungu, Alice Karoki Riungu, Marion Kieni. Brother in law to Ken Mwige (DG Vision 2030), Samuel Gitonga (KU), Ninnah Makena (B/W), Gatobu (B/M), Dan, Cliff, Timothy, Ngugi, Ndumba, Teresa and many more.
Uncle to Kipchirchir, Jeruto, Kipleting, Jepchumba, KK, Kipkoech, Jelimo, Ivy, Allan, Kiplimo, Kiptoo, Crispus, Leone, Owen, lmani, Betsy, lan, Jebichii, Eugene, Ellon, Emmanuel, Jaden and Jamba. Cousin, friend and colleague to many.
The cortege leaves MTRH on Thursday, 10th February, 2022 for- an overnight stay at his home. He will be laid to rest on Friday, 11th February, 2022 from 10.00am at his home Barekeiwet village Nandi County.
