It is with grief and sorrow to announce the sudden death of Eric Ondieki Arama, father of Myles Andrew Arama.

Son of Dr. Richard Mokua Arama and Martha Gesongori.

Brother of James Mokua Arama and Haron Gesongori Arama, uncle of Eli Menge Arama, brother in-law of Jacqui Arama and Annapoorna Mohan. 

Grandson of the late Gesongori Moracha and Hellen Moraa Gesongori of Nyamasibi Village, Nyaribari Masaba, Kisii county, the late James Mokua Mogendi and Teresia Nyanchama Mokua of Riabore Village, Nyamira County, Mwebi, the late Tonya, Ongoro, Ochenge, Nyabonyi and Mongina.

Nephew of Matoke, Memba, Mogaka, Mary, Agnes, Jerusa, Jared Boruma (Principal Moremani High School), Ruth, Charles Abisai, Alice, Veronica, Getembe, Kiana, Thomas, Joyce, Eunice, Baskaria, Kwamboka, Omwenga, Moraa, the late Moindi, Rose, Damacline, Gesare, Martha, Sokoro, Rose Omwenga, Emma, Daniel &Elizabeth Ogwangi, Tom & Edina Ogwangi, Tom and Ben Omwando, Ben Arama, Ombui & Nyambeki and others (All of USA).

Cousin of Stella, Tom, Kennedy, Lena, Nancy, Martha, Naom and Nadebu, Zachary, Susan and others (All of USA), all the Gesongori’s and Arama’s family.

The body is at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home. 

Viewing service will be held on 09/19/2024 at the funeral home from 3.00pm to 5.00pm, church service on 09/20/2024 at Rochester SDA Church from 10:00 am- 11:00 am and funeral procession to Oakwood Cemetery NE of Rochester MN for final send off at 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm.
