With humble acceptance of God’s good and perfect will, we announce the calling to glory Esther Wangari Kabue of Ruai (Formerly of Loden farm, Burnt Forest) which occurred at ICU Nairobi West Hospital on 12/7/2020 after a long illness bravely born.

Daughter of the late Ruthania Kamau and the late Ruth Nyambura. Sister to Late Rufus Wangereka, late Ibrahim Njoroge, late Rahab Njeri,Lillian Wanjiru (Turbo), John Kariuki (Lorien) and Danson Mwaniki (Nairobi). Wife to the late Godfrey Kibue Gathuo. Sister-in-law to Zachariah Kanyi Gathuo (Engashura farm), Late Samuel Gethii, late Joseph Noru, Lucy Wachuka (Nyahururu). Co-wife to Jane Nguhi Kibue. Loving mother to Grace Wangui (Ministry Information Kericho and Director Lanet Grestar Academy, Ruth Nyambura (Makuyu farm), The late Elizabeth Muthoni, Rev. Harun Kabue (AIC Uthiru), Rev. Jonah Kabue (MC Lari DCC), Zachariah Kabue and Rachel Wachuka Ndei. Step mother to Kezia, Carol and Mburu. Mother-in-law to Ngige Ngugi (Royal Media), Pastor Fatuma Gathuo (AIC Uthiru), Lydiah Wangechi, Elizabeth Njeri, Milcah Nyambura and the late Samuel Ndei.

Grandmother to Peris Wambui (USA), Godfrey Kabue (USA), Daniel Kabue (Simba Simba Advocates), Timothy Kabue, Arphaxad Kabue, Jack Kabue and Terry Joy Wairimu (Australia) among others. Great-grandmother to Morgan Kabue. She was an aunt to many.

The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home Nairobi at 7:00am on Saturday 18/7/2020. Burial will be on the same day at her husband’s farm in Engashura, Nakuru near Heroes High School starting at 11:00am.

With observation to the laid down government rules concerning COV1D-19 close friends and family members are meeting at her home in Rini and her daughter’s place (Muthangari) from 5:00 – 6:00 pm.
