EUNICE HASANGO KUINDWA

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the untimely passing of our beloved Eunice Hasango Kuindwa (formerly of Central Bank of Kenya) on Sunday, November 3, 2024, at Pandya Hospital.

Eunice was the devoted wife of the late Ambassador Fares Kuindwa, EGH, EBS, who served as Secretary to the Cabinet and Head of Public Service. She was a cherished  other of Sharuti, Kiido, Olympia, Abarhaya, Kirungu, and Maumbi. 

Her greatest joy and pride were her grandchildren: Ann-Marie, Felicia, Natalie, Pharell, Gabriella, Tirop, Serem, and Malakhi. Eunice was a beloved mother-in-law of Eve Misati, Catherine Kiido, Ayub Kiplagat, Hellen Kirungu, Pauline Abarhaya, and Grace Maumbi. 

She was the daughter of the late Hama Kirungu Majiba and the late Tunda Mkahola Suleiman.

Mama Eunice was also dearly loved by her siblings: Samuel Juma, the late Arnold Mwema, Rachael Moyoni, the late Josephine Ahadi, and Peter Imani.

Her life was a testament to her roles as a sister-in-law to many families, as well as an incredible cousin, niece, aunt, friend, and confidant to countless others.

Daily meetings are being held at 5:30 p.m. at Eunice’s Mombasa residence, where family and friends gather to offer their condolences.

On Friday, there will be prayers between 10:00 and 11:00 a.m. at Pandya Hospital Funeral Home, thereafter the body will be transported by road to the Kuindwa family home in Oda Village, Tana River County.

The funeral Mass and interment will take place on Saturday, November 16, 2024, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the Oda home.

May God grant her soul eternal peace until we meet again Psalm 91:1 – “He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
