It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Euphrasia Mary Nabwire Mukanda `Nebere formerly working with GTI Maseno, MOCO, KNTC and UNEP Gigiri of Lwero village, Teso South District., Busia County on 10/2/2020 at Coptic Hospital, Nairobi.

Daughter of the late Jacob Mukanda Wanjala Ayoti and the late Anjeline Akombe. Step-daughter of the late Namukabi, the late Nasubo, the late Magdaline, the late Nasirumbi, the late Esofina and the late Elizabeth.Wife of the late Moses Ajala Omerri. Mother of Amosi Omerri and Aireni Omerri. Step mother of Maurice Ogutu. Daughter-in-law of the late Chief Ezekiel Oteba Omerri and the late Amoding.

Sister of Mbingi, Juma, Okello, Clare, Dorothy, Mary, Scovia, Alice, Apiyo, Adongo, Caro, Nafula, Nekunda, Khamala and the late Desiranda, the late Ombudie, the late Nelson, the late Wandera, the late Wanjala, the late Ouma, the late Egesa, the late Ambongo, the late Wanyama, the late Otutie, the late Masakhalia, the late Majoni, the late Kotikoti, the late Wabwire, the late Nasike, the late Anyango, the late Hendrika, the late Odulu, the late Agutu and the late Mary. Sister-in-law of Getrude, Monica, Japheth, Shadrack, Albert, Philomena, the late Okusimba, the late Okula, the late Barasa and the late Afesa amongst others. Cousin, aunty and niece of many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her house Riverbank Estate South B Hse. 70 and also at Garden Square for funeral arrangements. There will be a major fundraiser to offset her hospital bill and funeral expenses today 3rd March 2020 at All Saints Cathedral starting 5pm.

Requiem mass to celebrate her life is on Wednesday 4th March 2020 at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, South B at 2pm.

The cortege leaves Nairobi on Friday 6th March 2020 for burial at Ojamii, Busia Town on Saturday 7/03/2020 starting 9am.
