It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the transition of Eva Thumbi Nginyo-Kamau which occurred on 22 June 2020.

Daughter of the late Josphat Nginyo and the late Keziah Wambui. Loving daughter-in- law to the late Moses Thaiya and Peris Wairigu. Beloved wife of Charles Kamau Thaiya. Caring mother of Allan Saiya and Tinker Nginyo. Sister to Antony Chege, Judy Kamiri, Lawrence Mungai and George Njoroge. Niece to the late George Njoroge, James Mwangi, Cyrus Komo, Florence Wanjiru, Margaret Wanjiku, Francis Kariuki, Joseph Kuria and Ben Kimani. Sister-in-law to Samuel Mbuti, Rose Thaiya, Loyce Gathoni, Mary Mwangl, Esther Gakumo, Godfrey Njenga, Winnie Wambul, Eunice Nungarl, Johnson Thaiya, Joseph Kibui and Andrew Gitau. Aunty, cousin and friend to many.

Family and friends are meeting at the family home in Ndumbuini, Uthiru.

The cortege leaves Chiromo Funeral Home on Thursday, 25th June 2020 at 9.00am. Funeral service will start at 10,00am at the family home followed by the burial.
