Mr. Evans Umidha Oruenjo

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the promotion to glory of Mr. Evans Umidha Oruenjo after bravely battling cancer.

He passed away on 12 th July, 2024 at The Nairobi Hospital. The body is lying at the Lee Funeral Home.

His family is grateful to God Almighty for the life of Evans who was such an amazing, selfless, bright, and strong-willed gentleman.

He deeply cared for others and inspired many with his boundless love and friendship.

He was not only a remarkable Advocate but dedicated his life to seeking justice and in so doing earned great respect among his colleagues and the legal profession at large.

The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home on 26th July, 2024 for Mzee Oruenjo Umidha’s home near Mulaha Primary School within Siaya Township Ward, Siaya.

Upon arrival in Siaya, the procession will head to Mbaga Catholic Church for a requiem mass ahead of an overnight vigil at mzee Oruenjo Umidha’s home.

Interment will take place on the 27th July, 2024.

His family, friends, and relatives are meeting daily at Nairobi City Court no. 3 from 5:00 PM for funeral arrangements.

Mini-Harambee on Thursday 18th July, 2024 at All Saints Cathedral from 5.00 PM Main Harambee on Wednesday 24th July, 2024 at All Saints Cathedral from 5.00 PM to raise funds towards medical and funeral expenses.

A requiem mass shall be held at All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi on 25th July, 2024 at 10.00am.
