Death and Funeral Announcement of Evanson Munene Karichu

It is with great sadness we announce the death of Evanson Munene Karichu, after a long battle with cancer. He was a board member of Afya Sacco and formerly of Ministry of Health and KMTC Nairobi.

Son of the late Gabriel Karichu and Virginiah Wanjiku of Kangemi, Gichagi. Husband of Sophia Wanjiru of Kahawa Wendani. Father of Anne Wanjiku Munene of KMTC Nairobi, Samuel Karichu, Catherine Wangui (Lawyer) and Samuel Karichu Kimani (PWAT). Father-in-law of Isaac Waweru Kimani from Muranga, Weithaga. Grandfather of Clyde Moses Kimani. Brother of the late Joseph Mugwe, Lucy Njeri (USA), Alice Wambui Njoroge, the late Teresia Wanene, the late Walter Thairu, the late Simon Peter Kimani, Mary Wanjira Mburu and Henry Thande. Son-in-law of the late Joseph Ngotho and late Teresia Wangui of Kawangware, Kinyanjui rd. Brother-in-law of Michael Koirugo, Alice Murugi, Edwin Kariuki, Mary Waceke, Francis Kanjabi, Lawrence Njenga, Peter Karuga, Edwin Mburu and Njoroge Killa.

The cortege leaves Lee funeral home on Friday 17/04/2020 at 9 AM, for a funeral service and burial at Malaa, Kangundo road from 11AM.
