Son in law to the late Kuria and the late Wagechi. Father of Margaret Wanjiru, Esther Muthoni, Teresiah Njeri, Stephen Irungu Veronicah Wanjiku and David Kamau. Father-in-law of Charles Ngugi, the late Stephen Wokabi, Johnstone Mwaura, Onsongo Osuku, and Esther Wanjiku. Grandfather of Winnie Wambui, Edward Kangethe, Fausto Muthua, Rachael Muruga, Allan Karanja, Margaret Wahata, the late Solomon Chege, Winnie Wambui, Alex Ngugi, Mark Muthua, Abigael Wambui, Winnie Wambui, Ryan, Lewis and Roy. Great grandfather of Joe, Felix, Hope, Steve and Sam.

Hails from Kiiriangoro (Mutunguru) Kirere Location, Kigumo Sub-County, Murang’a County. Funeral arrangement meetings at his home in Kirere Kiriangoro and her daughter’s residence at Marurui Nairobi.

Burial is on Friday 7th Aug 2020 at Kiiriangoro, Kirere, Mur’anga. The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Memorial Funeral Home for burial at 7.00am on 7th August, 2020 at Kiriangoro Mutunguru Kirere Location, Kigumo Sub-County, Murang’a County at 11am.
