FERISHINA KABUIYA MATHINJI

It is with profound sorrow and acceptance of Gods will that we announce the demise of Mrs Ferishina Kabuiya Mathinji that occurred on 23rd August 2020 at the Nairobi Hospital after a long illness bravely borne.

Wife of the late Pancrasio Mathinji. Daughter of the late John Wanjohi and Mary Muthoni. Mother of the late James Wachira, Margaret Wangechi, Lucy Gaita, John Wanjohi, Joseph Kanyi, Boniface Mwangi, Joyce Wahito and Magdaline Wanjiku. Mother-in-love of Hellen Wachira, Julius Gaita, Hildah Wambui, Rosemary Kanyi, Ruth Mwangi and Emilio Mugendi. Sister of the late Wambura Muchina, Esther Njoki, the late Magdalene Munga, Jane Waitherero and Simon Mwangi. She was a grandmother, great grandmother of Ade, lmani & Rakem, aunt and an inspiration to many.

Family & friends are currently meeting virtually from her home in Kiawaita, Mukurweini every day from 5.30 pm.

The cortege leaves Karatina Jamii Hospital mortuary at 9.30 am on Tuesday, September 1st 2020. Requiem mass will be held at Kaheti Catholic Church and thereafter burial at her home in Kiawaita village.
