FLORENCE MUGURE GITUNGO

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Florence Mugure Gitungo which happened on Tuesday 17 th September 2024.

Beloved wife of the late George Gitungo. Loving mother of Georgiana Wamaitha and John Nderitu, Carol Wanjiru and James Mugi, Enan Ngugi, and Samuel and Wanjiku Mwirigi.

Grandmother of Sara-Maya, Karugi, Mwangi, Mugure, Gitungo and the late Manguyu.

Daughter of the late Leah Wanjiru and the late Samuel Mwirigi of Githumu, Muranga County.

Daughter-in-law of the late Ruth Wamaitha and late Elias Ngugi Gitungo.

Sister of the late Virginia Mwangi, the late Susanah Kiriga, Joyce Mwangi, Kenneth Mwangi, the late Emma Ng’ang’a, Hazel Mwariri, Paul Chege, Humphrey Njuguna, Teresia Magiri, and Zipporah Wakioru Tumu. Aunt, cousin and friend to many.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday 21st September 2024 at 2:00pm at the family home in Gatura.

The funeral service will take place on Wednesday 25th September 2024 at 11:00am, ACK St. Andrews, Gatura, immediately followed by burial at the family home.
