Wife of Jacob Kithinji Marete. Mother of Mercy Makena, Timothy Mwirigi and Girffin Kaimenyi. Daughter of the late Jason Nkanata and Grace Nkanata of Kathera Village, South Imenti Sub County, Meru County. Mother in-law of Albanus Mutinda Ndunda and Emily Wanjiru. Grandmother of Lemuel Imani, Ethan Baraka, Jackson Murithi, Brian Mutembei, Addalynne Kawira, Mwendwa and Mukiri. Sister of Charles Kimathi, John Gituma, Mbaabu Kimitu, Helen Naitore and the late Susan Kathure. Daughter-in-law of the late Francis Marete and the Late Zipporah Marete. Sister-in-law of Kajuju, Karuru, Loise, easther, Chepkemoi, Purity and the Late Naitore. Aunt of Moris Mutuma, Karimi, Gitonga, Gatwiri, Kaimenyi, Gituma, Munene, Mwiti, Mwenda, Kiendi, Mutuma, Kimathi, Mutethia, Kathure, Nkatha, Mwenda, Muthuri, Karwitha, Martin, Mukami, Pauline, Karani, Kathambi, Miriko, Muriungi Glory, karimi, Ngugi, Samson Mwenda Ian, Mercy, Kathurima, Kathambi, & the late Mbaya Maragu.

The Cortege will leave Kenyatta University Funeral Home on 18th September 2020 at 8:00AM for the funeral service and burial in Meru County, Central Imenti, next to Kithirune Market.
