FLORENCE NJERI MUNGAI

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Florence Njeri Mungai of F.N. Mungai & Company Advocates (Law Class of 88).

Wife to the late Christopher Mungai Chege of Undiri, Kikuyu. Mother to Peter Chege Mungai, Isaac Makumi Mungai, and Grace Wangui Mungai. Daughter of the late Isaac and Milkah Makumi of Chinga, Othaya and daughter-in-law to Peter Gachege and the late Grace Wangui.

Sister to Wangari Murathe and Dr.Alfred Murathe, Evah Wachuka, John Kiruga and Margaret Kiruga, Elizabeth Wanjiru and Bishop John Ndegwa, and the late Christopher Kin’gori and Rhoda King’ori.

Sister-in-law to Mary Njeri, Dorothy Mutemi and Ambassador David Mutemi, the late Matthew Ng’anga and Caroline Ng’anga, Peninah Mumbi, Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Njonde, and Serah Ng’anga (UK).

Auntie to Jesse, Cliff, Makumi, Waruguru, Ndegwa, Tony, Grace and Jonathan Olendo, Mark, Mercy, Kelvin, Elkanah, Quinter, Milkah, Wangui, Muthoni, Mungai, Pete, Yvonne, Michelle, Chege, Kibanga, Dr. Chege, John, Simon, Kaguri,Wangui, Pete Bradley, and others. She was cousin and friend to many.

The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home on Monday, 31st October 2022 at 7:00am for the funeral service at A.C.K. St. Joseph of Arimathea, Thome which will be held from 10:00am. Thereafter she will be laid to rest at her home in Undiri, Kikuyu.

Meetings for prayers and funeral arrangements are being held daily at her family home in Thome from 6.30pm.
