With deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will, we announce the untimely demise of Dr. (Mrs) Florence Wamahiga Githuthu on Tuesday, 6th August 2024.

She was the beloved wife of Isaac Samson Githuthu of Nyeri County.

Loving mother of Rita Wanjiru Mugo, Stephen Mugo Githuthu,Angela Nyambura Ngaamba, Michael Njuguna Githuthu and Elizabeth Wamuyu Githuthu Nguru. Mother-in-Law of Mugo Kimani, Kyalo Ngaamba & Timothy Nguru Wambu.

Adoring grandmother of Patricia Tiebo Mugo, Zaveria Wambui Mugo, Malcom Kimani Mugo, Jessica Mutheu Ngaamba, Olivia Wambui Ngaamba, Nathaniel Wambu Nguru, David Githuthu Wambu & Penelope Wahiga Wambu.

Florence was the daughter of the late Harrison Mithanga Ndumba and Grace Thithu (Warukira) Mithanga of Nyeri County.

Sister of Ayub & Wambui King’ori, Benson & Milkah Nyakairore Ndiritu, the late Veronica Wangui Mithanga, Samuel & Agnes Marua, The late Margaret Wagaki, the late Sepherinah Gathoni & Mwangi Waweru,Thomas & Grace Wambaire Wachihi Mithanga, Swaleh Salim & Miriam Wangechi Mithangaand twin sister of late Jecinta Wanjiru Mithanga.

Daughter-in-law of the late Samson Mugo & Ruth Wanjiru Mugo of Nyeri County.

Sister-in-law of the late Anthony and Peninah Giachuka, Sarah Nyambura Mugo, the late Kamau Mugo, Ngari Mugo, Wanjiku, Njeri, the late Mwangi Mugo.

Loving Auntie of Jane & Anthony Maina Mithanga,Wilfred Warukira, Monica Njeri, James Wachihi, Lily, Warukira and many others.

Holy Mass will be held on Friday 9th August 2024 at 12:00 noon at the family home in Karen.

Friends and family will meet for prayers and internment arrangements on Monday 12th August 2024,Wednesday 14th August 2024 and Friday 16th August 2024 at the family home in Karen, at 5:00 p.m.

Requiem mass and interment dates to be communicated.

Eternal rest grant unto her oh Lord and let perpetual light shine upon her.
