FLORENCE WAMBUI KAMIRU

It is with humble acceptance of Gods will and grace that we announce the promotion to glory of Florence Wambui Kamiru, which occurred on 2nd November, 2023 at Valley Hospital Nakuru. She hailed from Rumwe Farm, Njoro Sub-County Nakuru County.

Last born daughter of the late Karanja Waithaka and Wanjiku Karanja.

Loving wife to the late Rtd Rev. James Kamiru Neguuni. A doting mother to Dr. Rebecca Wangari Gikonyo (Laikipia University), Rev. Ruth Wanjiku Kamuhuro, Prof. John Nguuni (USA), Lay Reader Peter Karanja Kamiru, Naomi
Nyambura Kamiru, Hannah Maina, Andrew Mbuthia Kamiru (Snr. Forester – Kericho), Grace Mukami Muchiri, Prof. Faith Njoki Karanja (UoN) and Phoebe Nduta Kamau (Principal Komothai Girls).

Mother-in-law to Reuben Gikonyo, Bishop Kamiru Patrick Kamuhuro, Cynthia Nguuni (USA), Peris Karanja, James Maina, John Muchiri Njuguna, Prof. Dr.Anthony Karanja Wanyoro, Kenneth Kamau (USA).

Grandmother to many and a great-grandmother to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her residence in Rumwe Farm.

The cottage leaves Umash Funeral Home in Nakuru on Tuesday 14th November 2023 at 8.00am for a church service at ACK Immanuel Church – Njoro at 10.00 am and later the burial ceremony will be held at her farm in Rumwe farm.
