FRANCIS KILAHA AMADIVA

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mr. Francis Kilaha Amadiva on Monday, 15th June 2020 at Alexandria Cancer Center (Eldoret), after a short battle with cancer bravely borne.

Son of the late mzee Richard Amadiva and mama Elizabeth Nasiali. Loving husband of Irene Onono Kilaha and dotting dad of Sheilah Caritas Kilaha (USA), Christine Kilaha (USA), Clara Kilaha (Uganda), Patrick Ijaika (Nairobi) and Martin Amadiva (Nairobi). Grandpa of Adrian, Ivanna, Calvin and Jason. Father-in-law of J. Kapere, E. Apeu.O, D. Odhiambo and J.S. Daudi. Brother of the late F. Esiemenyi, late John Mudanya, L. Kahuga, the late Vincent Kaduka, late Mary ljai, George Amahaya, A. Nyando, M. Kibisu, L. Indago and D. Adisa. Brother-in-law of late Selly Muhonja, B. Ombunga, the late Ruth, Judy among others. Son-in-law of mzee Javan Ombunga and mama Repha Wetende of Butere. Uncle to many.

The cortege leaves Jumuia Friends Funeral Home – Kaimosi on Sunday, 21st June 2020, for the funeral and burial service on Monday 22nd June 2020 at his home in Mugangu village, Ivola Sub Location,Tambua location,Vihiga County. There shall be strict observance of the government’s Coved— 19 control measures and guidelines.

Franco, you fought a good fight; you kept the faith, and you have finished the race. May you rest in eternal peace. We loved you but God loved you more! Till we meet again…Shalom
