FRANCIS MAINA KAGARA (ALAS PROFESSOR)

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Francis Maina Kagara (Alas Professor) of Moi University-Eldoret on 14th August 2020 after short illness. Until his death he was a lecturer in Moi University.

Son of the late Erastus Mwangi Karoki and Late Rahab Wahu Mwangi. Son-in-law of the late Bancy Wamaitha and late Keffa Mutirika. Loving husband of Charity Maina, Father of Wamaitha Murage & Cynthia Wahu. Father in law of Murage Wanjohi. Grandfather of Frank Wanjohi and Maxwell Maina. Brother of Lydia Kamamia, Nancy Konyu, Late Jennifer Mumbi, Wangu kagaradudy Waguthi, Patrick Muchemi, Caroline Muringi, Nicholas Gitonga, Beatrice Nyaguthie, Samuel Gaits and Catherine Wairimu. Brother-in-law of Edward Kamamia, Jocye Muchemi, Kate Gitonga and Irene Mumbua. Loving Uncle, grandfather, cousin, colleague, mentor and friend of many.

Family and friends are meeting to at his home in Nyagithu village, Kianjogu sublocation for Funeral arrangements daily from 4.PM.

Francis will be laid to rest at his home in Nyagithu village, Kianjogu sub location Kirimukuyu location Nyeri County on Thursday 20th August 2020. Cortege shall leave outspan funeral home in Nyeri followed by a funeral service at his home at 10 am.
