FRANCIS ORANGI NYATOME

17th September 1941 ~ 4th September 2024

Francis Orangi Nyatome was born to Mzee Nehemiah Nyatome and Bathsheba Ochari Nyatome in 1941 as the firstborn of 12 siblings; the late Samuel, the late David, the late Paul, Simon, Esther, Tabitha, James, Peter, Mary, George and Helen.

Mzee Nyatome and his wife, Milkah Nyatome,were blessed with six children; the late Irene, Tom, Lorna, Brian, Edgar and Paul Nyatome.

Mzee Nyatome is also survived by 14 grandchildren; Leon, Louis and Christopher Panther, Abigael and Luke lyatome, Tirok, Kimosop and Kipsoi Kigen, Jonathan, David, Joseph and Deborah Nyatome, and Celine and Noah Nyatome. 

Family and friends are meeting at his Mountain View home from 5.00 pm daily.

A memorial service will be held at Citam, Valley Road, on Wednesday, 25 th September 2024, from 2.00 pm.

The cortege will leave Lee Funeral Home on Thursday, 26th September 2024, for Kisii in preparation for the burial on Friday, 27th September 2024, at mzee’s home in Keumbu, Kisii.
