He was the brother of Elder George Maina, David Gachiri, William Kariuki, Alice Wanjiru (SCDE Samburu East), Peter Gichuhi and Eunice Mutundu.

Son-in-law of Teresa Wanjiku. Brother-in-law of Margaret Wanjira.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Kiawara, Kieni West Sub County and at Gititu village, Tetu from 4.00 p.m.

The cortege leaves Nyeri Funeral Home –Outspan at 8:30 AM for prayers and burial on Wednesday, 16th October 2024, at the family home in Gititu Village, Aguthi location, near Gititu Primary school in Tetu Sub-County, Nyeri County.
