FREDA KABURA MARUBU

7th July, 1939 — 7th July, 2021

After a life well lived, Freda Kabura Marubu went to be with the Lord on 7th July, 2021.

She was the daughter of the late Hiram Mathu and the late Emily Njeri. Beloved wife of the late Stanley Marubu Mwangi. Mother of the late David Marubu, Nancy Karimi, Joyce Njeri Marubu, Carolyne Marubu, Maryann Marubu and Andrew Marubu. Mother-in-law of Zakayo Karimi and Judy Mwangi Marshall. Grandmother of Paul & Laura Mwangi, the late Stacy Mwangi, Adrian, Joyce and Kimberly Munyi, Brian Marubu, Michael Ninah Marubu, Kena Marubu and Nathan Mathu.

Sister of the late Pithon Ng’ang’a, the late Stanley Gathungu, the late Evan Kariuki, Erastus Waituika, Mary Ndiki and Milkah Mathu. Sister-in-law of Fredrick Mwaniki.

Family and friends are meeting at her home in South B.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Memorial Funeral Home (Northern Bypass), on Thursday 15th July, 2021 at 8.00am for a church service at ACK St Veronica Church South B at 10.30am, followed by burial at Lang’ata Cemetery.
