It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of George Munyiri Kinya on 26th September 2020.

Son of the late Zacharia Kinya Gikubia and the fate Zipporah Wangui Kinya. Husband to Margaret Wanjugu Kinya. Father to Zipporah Wangui, Zacharia Kinya, Eric Ruhiu Munyiri, Nelly Hiuko Munyiri and Julius Kamanu. Father in law to Irene Gatumbi, Grace Njeri, Kevin Gituma Mukiira. Brother to the late Joseph Kamanu, the late Eliud Mutura, Edith Mugure, the late Mary Gathoni Maina, the late Duncan Kibanya, Martha Wanjiru, John Muchikuri, Samuel Kabechu and the late Rebecca Njeri. Brother in law to the late Grace Gathoni Kamanu, Anne Nyachomba Mutura, Joseph Maina Gatuhi, Agnes Ngima Kibanya, Jerioth Wamuyu Muchikuri, Mwarania Kabechu and Tereza Nyaguthii Kabechu. Son in law to the late Hiram Ruhiu Muriithi and the late Virginia Hiuko Ruhiu. Brother in law to Elsie Wanjiru, the late Lawrence Muriithi, Mercy Wairimu, J.H.R. Murigu, the late Ephraim Gachigua, Timothy Irimu and the late Titus Githui. Grandfather to Ted, Romeo, Jewels, Meigan, Melissa, Levin, Wanjugu, Munyiri, Maina Kinya, Natasha and Ryan.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily from 4pm at his home in Kanyama village for prayers.

The cortege will leave Jamii Hospital Mortuary, Karatina on Friday 2nd October 2020 at 8am for funeral service and burial thereafter at Kanyama village, Kaiyaba Sub-location, Kirimukuyu location, Mathira West sub-county, Nyeri county.
