It is with deep sadness and profound gratitude to God that we announce the death of Mama Getruda Adongo Ogodo that occurred on 01/09/2023 at Meditrina Hospital, Homa Bay County.

She was the wife to the late Tobias Ogodo Asigo of Kanjira Location, Karachuonyo Constituency, Homa Bay County.

Daughter to Dishon Akin Ogina and Hanna Adhiambo Wetende Akin (All Deceased) of Waondo Village, Suba North Sub-County.

Mother to Meresia Akoth Ouma, the late Jacob Bazil Ochanda Ogodo, the late Wilfred Jaoko Ogodo, Ochieng’ Ogodo, Paulicap David Ogodo, the late Pamela Awuor Odawo, Olivia Odero Aluoch, Hellen Adhiambo Ogema, Eunice Akinyi Ochuodho of Australia and Matilda Anyango Mukundi. Step-mother to the late Jonahs Gotondo, Dan Ogodo, Janette Akeyo Yoto, Everline Obudho, Derick Ogodo, Amos Aketch, Charles Odoyo Anyango, Ruth Oketch, Grace Aduma, Lucas Ogutu Oteko, Peter Orwa Anyango, Joan Polo, Robert Ogindo Ojwang and Tom Owili, among others.
