GILBERT GITONGA M’KIAIRA

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Gilbert Gitonga M’Kiaira, formerly of the Kenya Planters Co-operative Union (KPCU), which occurred on 26th November, 2022 at The Kenyatta National Hospital after a long illness bravely borne.

Beloved son to the late M’ Kiaira Rutonya and the late Julia Kiajia.

Husband to Dr. Martha Gitonga, Father of Lawrence Murithi, Humphery Mwiti, Caroline Matelong, and Gertrude Gaceri. Father-in-Law to Margaret Murithi, Irene Mwiti and Julius Matelong. Grandfather to Adrian, Elsie, Isabel, Ian and Nathan.

Brother to the late Joses M’Buuri, the late Fides Muriuki and the late James Kaburu. Brother-in-Law to Bridgette, the late Muriuki, Florence, Simon, Jason, the late Stanley, Julia, Gladys, Gilbert, Agnes and Doris.

Relatives and friends are meeting for Prayers and Burial preparations at his residence in Kimathi Estate from 4.00p.m. and at Tumaini House, 7th Floor CBD off Moi Avenue on 7th Floor from 5.00p.m on Wednesday 30th November and Thursday, 1st December 2022.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Saturday, 3rd December, 2022 at 6.00a.m. for a funeral service at PCEA Kirimene Church from I 0.00a.m. followed by internment on the same day at his home at Kanyakine, Nyumbayathi, Kiamirigi, Imenti South, Meru County.
