It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden demise of Gilbert Mariera Makori of ICEALION LIFE KISII BRANCH which occurred on 19/9/2024.

Son of the late Sylvanus Makori and Priscah Bwari Kemunto, Grandson of Nyagoto and Pascaria, the late Mochache and Sandimu. 

Beloved husband of Miriam Kemunto.  Father of Winstein Kerubo, Crystal Kemunto, Brittany Sandimu and Marlee Gift. 

Brother of the late DC Kerosi, Benedict, the late Ronald, Gesare, Evans, the late Omboye, Stella, Nyaboke and Moraa. Son-in-law of the late Onsongo Isaac & Mellen Kerubo and Prof Omboto of Moi University.

Brother in-law of Jackline, Elmeldah, Margaret, James, Edinah, Anderson, Vincent, Lancaster, Geoffrey Misati, Lilian and Samson.

Cousin of the Makabururu’s, Nyangweso’s, Ogato’s, Otiso’s, Nyaenya’s, Gisemba’s, Memba’s, Nyaigoti’s, Otora’s, Ondoro’s, Nyang’au’s, Manoti and Amoro’s Uncle of Collins, Cynthia, Ronny, Grace, Miriam, Wesley, Cornelius, Forty, Queen, Ronald, Arnold, Marion, Praisson, Maureen, Julie, Tabbie, Ethan, Quirinius, Rufina, Sharon, Winnie, Gifton, Lucky, Adrian, Abdiel, The Keraita’s among others. 

Friends and Relatives are meeting daily at Impact Restaurant Kisii and His home Moturumesi for prayers and funeral arrangements

The cortege leaves KTRH Mortuary on 3rd October 2024 to his home Bomoori, Moturmesi, Rigena Sub-location, Gachuba Division, Masaba North sub-county, Nyamira County for a night vigil.

The burial will take place on the 4th October 2024 at his home Bomoori Village Moturumesi.
