GILBERT WAMITI MWANGI

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing on of Gilbert Wamiti Mwangi, who passed away in the morning of 7th March, 2023 after suffering a heart attack while hospitalized at Kenyatta University Teaching Referral and Research Hospital.

Son to the late Onesmus Mwangi Githinji and the late Minnie Wania Mucue. Brother to the late Francis Githinji, the late Gibson Mucue, the late Jesee Kamau, the late Margaret Wanjiru, Robert Ndegwa, Florence Njeri, Eunice Njambi and Philomena Wanjeri.

Husband to Rose Muthoni Mwangi. Father to Minnie Wanja Gitau, the late David Mwangi, Bernard Kamau, Francis Githinji and Damaris Njeri.

Grandfather to Bradley Gitau, Damian Gitau, Aleksis Gitau Vanessa Mwangi, Lindsey Mwangi, Mariam Kamau,Waridi Kamau, Ishmael Kamau and Narnia Githinji.

He will be laid to rest on Friday 17th March, 2023 at Karugutu Village, OrKalou, in Nyandarua County. The cortege will depart KUTRRH Funeral Home at 7.00am.

Family and Friends are meeting at All Saints Cathedral on Tuesday 14th March, 2023 for final preparations.

There will be a requiem Service at his home in Joska on Wednesday 15th March, 2023 at 4.00pm.
