GLADYS THUGURI KARIUKI

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gladys Thuguri Kariuki on 31st October 2024.

She was the daughter of the late Maranga Mbaria and Lucy Muthoni Maranga.

Daughter in love of the late Christopher Gaita and Lucy Gaita.

Gladys was the cherished wife of John Kariuki Gaita of Rich Walling and Flooring Co Ltd, Gikomba, Nairobi.

She was mother of Monica Kariuki (CBK Kisii), Richard Gaita (Qatar Airways) and Mark Maranga Kariuki (Sunrise Garden School).

Mother in love of Winnie Gaita. Grandmother of Kimberly Mokeira and Kaylee Thuguri.

Gladys was sister of Nancy, Charity, Grace, the late Perpetua, Rose, Diana, the late Mbaria, Paul, Charity, Esther, Samuel and Murage. She was sister in law of Nderi, Jimmy, Wang’ombe, Hellen and George. Auntie, cousin and grandmother to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her residence at Donholm, Greenspan estate, phase 1, house number 15 from 5.00 pm.

There will be a requiem mass on Wednesday at St. Andrews Edelvale Catholic Church, Donholm from 2.00 pm.

The cortege will depart from Montezuma Funeral Home, Mbagathi Road at 6.00 am on Friday 8th November 2024.

The burial will take place at their Marmanet home, Nyahururu, Laikipia County on the same day.
