We regret to announce the sudden demise of Grace Kwamboka Onwong’a Oyieko (Mama Lydia).

Loving wife of Mr Dismas O. Oyieko (formerly of ICDC). Adoring mother to Lydiah Kemunto (DBK), Nancy Sarongo (Camusat), Wilfridah Nyambeki (UoN), Newton Orina (Neptune Software Ltd), Emmanuel Ogetonto (St. Paul’s University) and the late immaculate Nyanchoka. Daughter to the late Francis Ogetonto and the late Rael Nyanchoka. Daughter-in-law of the late Fidelis Oyieko and Mama Lucia Kemuma. Mother-in-law to Charles Nyakundi (Gulf Energy), Denis Nyakwaye (UN) and Pauline Mutua (Egypro East Africa). Grandmother of Ryan, Rodney, Roy, Lerato, Lethabo and Sidney-Ben. Sister to Nyambekt, the late Kerubo, Milcah, the late Ondieki, Alice, Joyce and the late Enock. Sister-in-law to the late Alice, Peninah, Florence, Christopher (Kenya Power), Mary, Ernest (Kisii University), Sr. Margaret (Kisii Diocese), Jackline, Rose, the late Jared, Carren, Bbyanne and Damaris. Aunt of Denis Okioga, Laureen, Witter, Hillary, Job, Damian, Dr. Chris Ondieki, Gladys among others. Niece to Mochire, Kang’ina, Genchabe among others.

Friends and Relatives are meeting at her residence in Ngong, on daily basis for funeral arrangements.

The (cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home on 11th Aug 2020 at 11:00 a.m for requiem mass at St Joseph Cathedral Ngong at 1:00 pm. Thereafter she will be put to rest at their Kibiko residende.

All protocols of COVID-19, as per the government directives observed.
