GRACE MUCHIRU MURAYA

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Grace Muchiru Muraya on 4th November 2023.

Loving wife to the late Simon Muraya Matu and they were both blessed with five children: Christine Wangui, Eric Matu, Jeddy Jaqueline Wangeci, Joan Muthoni and Brian Ndoria.

Mother-in-love to the late Joseph Marwa and Edward Wanjihia.

Grandmother to Rael Robi, Grace Jessica, Tumaini Muraya, Valentine Marwaitara, John Matiko, Ethan Mukora and Elaine Wangui.

Daughter to the late Ephaphrus Ndoria Kanja and the late Jedida Wangeci Gichuki. Sister to the late Alice Wambui Muchugu, the late James Kanja Ndoria, Esther Wangui Githinji, Charity Hiuko Ndoria, Eunnah Wangu Ndoria, Lydia Gathoni Mwaniki, the Grace Muchiru, late twin brother Gilbert Gichuki Ndoria and Bernice Wakiuru Gichuiri.

Sister-in-law Muraya to the late Anthony Muchugu, Rev. Timothy Kagiri, the late Mwaniki Kamore and the late
Moses Gichuiri.

Step-daughter to the late Jeniffer Wangechi Ndoria. Stepsister to Grace Wambui, Faith Wairimu, the late Mercy Hiuko, Patrick Murigu and the late twin brother Kanja, Duncan Munyua, Roselind Wanjiru and Charles Macharia.

Daughter-in-law to the late Charles Matu Matindi and the late Ruth Wangui Matu. Sister-in-law to the late Pricilla Karima Matu, the late the late Joseph Hunda Matu, James Matindi Matu, Milka Gathoni Kibuchi, the late Lydia Kagendo Wanjohi, the late Jeremiah Mureithi. She was a friend, aunty,grandmother, and great grandmother to many.

Family and friends are meeting at PCEA Lang’ata Church from 6 pm to 7:30 pm from November 2023.

There will be a memorial service at PCEA Lanp’ata Church on Sunday 12th November at 3.00pm.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home (Mbagathi Way) on Tuesday, 14th November 2023. The funeral service will be held at PCEA Langata Church at 10.00am and thereafter burial at the Lang’ata Cemetery.
