Grace Nyambura Kamau

The family of Mercy Kamau (East London), Antony Ngugi (Ireland) and Patriciah Kariuki (UK) – would like to announce with sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will, the passing on to glory of mum Grace Nyambura Kamau on 13th April 2020 in Kenya after an illness bravely borne.

She was daughter to the late Joseph Ngugi and Mary Wangari Ngugi. She was mother to Mercy Kamau, James Kimani, Patricia Kariuki, Anthony Ngugi, James Kim Kimani, Geoffrey Gitaka, Mary Wangari, Esther Wambui among others. She was sister to Mwangi, Gathoni, Njihia, Wambui, Jimmy, Samson, Nganga, Hannah Wangui and Paulina Njeri. Grandmother to Moses Kamau and Judy Gikwa (UK), George Kimani and Natalie Kariuki (UK), Grace Nyambura Ngugi and Samantha Ngugi (Ireland), Antony Ngugi, Alfonse Kamau, Grace Nyambura Gitaka, Naomi Wambui, Waweru and Master JJ Kyengo(Kenya), and great grandmother to Noah Kamau (UK)
The funeral took place at her farm in Tumaini, Ol’kalou, Nyandarua county on Tuesday 21st April 2020.

Due to the current coronavirus pandemic we will not be able to hold a wake, but we will hold a virtual a meeting on zoom room on Saturday 18th April 2020 to celebrate our mum Grace Nyambura Kamau’s life.
