It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of our mother Grace Wanjoka John which occurred on Saturday 8th April, 2023.

Wife to the late John Nthiga Mithara.

Daughter to the late Njeru Muthandura (Kirata) and the late Rudia Marigu (Mwangi’rava). Sister to Truphena Ruguru, the late David Ireri, Rebecca Wamugo and Nancy Irimba.

Mother to James Muriithi Mithara, the late Mwalimu George Njiru, Dr. Jamleck Muturi John (TSC Chairman), Irene Karimi (Ol Kalou), David Ireri (Karau), Ruth Mukami (Nawiri Sacco Embu), Sarah Wanja (Embu), Lydia Muthoni (LLibkatec Nairobi).

Mother in law to Miriam Mukami, Ester Mumbi, Dr. Eunice Njeri (Kenyatta University), John Ndirangu (Ol Kalou), Joseph Muturi (Kigari) David Mutuma (MTK Nairobi), Ken Kivuti (LLibkatec Nairobi).

Grandmother to Joseph, Grace, Ngatha, Lydia,Winnie, Brenda, Jackline, Emanuel, Abigail, Precious, Bill, Blessing, Justice and Victoria. Great Grandmother to Emmanuel, Wambui Kimberly, Brighton. Auntie and friend to many.

Friends and family members are meeting daily at 3.00pm for prayers and funeral arrangements at her home Karau village, Mbuvori Sub-Location, Manyatta Sub-County, Embu County and 5.00pm at Prime hotel, Embu County.

The cortege will leave Gakwegori Funeral Home at 9.00am Tuesday 18th April, 2023 for funeral service at ACK St. Paul Mbuvori. There after burial will take place at her home in Karau village.
