HAGGAI OPOTI ODWORY (OLALO)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion toglory of our beloved. Haggai Opoti Odwory which occurred on the 21/9/2020 at Coptic Hospital Nairobi. He was an officer with National Intelligence Service Nairobi. He was the Vicars Warden at ACK Kitengela Holy Trinity Church from the year 2015 until his demise.

Son of the late Mzee David Odwory Opoti and Mama Palantina Odinga Odwory of Nambere Village, Murende Sub-Location, Nang’oma Location,Busia Sub-County, Busia County. Loving husband to Christine Pauline Maende. Father to Emmanuel Okinda of Thika Technical institute, Deanne Ruth of Kitale School and John Wesley (Junior) of Jobek Educational Centre Kitengela. Brother to the late Beatrice Nekesa Opoti, Alice Nafula Ogalle, Grace Nabwire Muyesu, Robert Odwory Opoti, Dinah Akelo and Samson Wesonga Opoti. Son in-law to the late Jackton Maende and Ruth Okelo. Brother in-law to Fidelis Opoti, Gladys Opoti, Walter Maende, Josephine Maende and Florence Maende among others.

He was Cousin to James Okinda, Oswald Okinda, Tom Okinda, Nicholas Okimah, Anne Nabwire, Fred Wandera, Benjamin Nyongesa and Susan Nyongesa. Nephew to the late John, Michael, Felistus, Aloys Okinda, Wilson, Martin and Benson Opoti. He was an Uncle to Shandrack Okinda, Joseph Ogale, Lenah Muyesu, Victor Opoti, Japheth Ojanji, Jonathan Wesonga, Alem, Claudia, Okello, Brian,Victor among others.

Family and Friends are meeting daily at his residence in Milimani cereals Kitengela and Nambere Village home in Busia County.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home on Thursday 1st October, 2020 at 8.00am for Funeral service at the ACK Holy Trinity Kitengela Church from 11.00am and thereafter for a night vigil at his home in Kitengela.

Burial will take place on Saturday the 3rd October,2020 at Nambere Village, Murende Sub-location, Nang’oma Location, Busia Sub-County, in Busia County.

Our Dear Haggai we release you to Heaven to be with your maker, we thank God for the precious time we shared with you. In God’s Hands You Rest In Our Hearts You Live Forever.
