It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing on of our beloved Hannah Joan Gathoni Kangethe (KAJO) which occurred on 8th April 2023 after a short illness.
Loving mother of Elsa Wangeci.
Cherished daughter of the late Harrison Kangethe Mwaura and the late Elizabeth Nduta Kangethe. Sister to Nicolas Mwaura Kangethe and Dr Brenda Muthoni Semindei.
Sister-in-law to Dr Semindei Kamande.
Beloved Granddaughter to Samuel Ngugi and Hannah Gathoni Ngugi and the late James Mwaura Kangethe and the late Violet Muthoni wa Mwaura.
A doting auntie to Daniel, Shaun, Dussie, Malaika, Soila, Zainab and Saruni. She was a niece, cousin, and friend to many.
Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and burial preparation at the family home in Kitisuru, from 4:00pm.
The cortege will leave Umash Funeral Home, Nairobi on Friday, 21st April 2023, at 09:00am for funeral service and burial at the family farm in Ruthigiti, Kiambu County from 11:00am.
Joan, we loved you so much, but Heaven has gained an Angel. Fly with the Angels Kajo.
