HANNAH MUTHONI NJUGUNA

It is with deep humility and acceptance of God’s sovereign will that we sadly announce the passing on of Mama Hannah Muthoni Njuguna, affectionately known as Mama Ngore.

She was the beloved wife of the late Jacob Njuguna Kirumba. Co-wife of the late Leah Njeri Njuguna.

Hannah was a sister to the late Amina Karingi Manji.

She hailed from Kahuho Village, Makutano Location, Cherangani, Plot No. 47.

Loving mother to David & Rose Kimani Njuguna, Rufus & Rey. Mary Kinuthia, Lt. Col. (Rtd.) John & the late Virginia Ngore Njuguna, Joseph & Rahab Njenga, Dr. Mike & Lucy Macharia Njuguna, the late Nancy Wanjiru, Rev. Dr. Charles & Pst. Catherine Kuria Njuguna, Silas & Alice Kisang, Stephen & Mary Waithaka-Njuguna, Duncan & Jemima Chege Njuguna, and Francis & Betty Muthoma.

Step-mother to Joseph & Julie Kimani Njuguna, the late Stephen & Rahab Niihia, John & Elizabeth Karimi Njuguna, Rev. Peter Kabera & Rev. Esther Kabera, Daniel & Joyce Macharia Njuguna, Paul & Triza Waithaka Njuguna,
Isaac & Jane Mugo, Charles & Mary Rubia Njuguna (Australia), Stephen & Gladwell Wangai Njuguna, and Samuel Maina Njuguna.

She was a treasured grandmother and great-grandmother to many.

The cortege will leave Cheragany Nursing Home Mortuary on Saturday, 28th October, 2023, at 9:30am for a funeral service and burial ceremony at the family home in Kahuho Village, Makutano Location, Cherangani, on the same day.
