HELDA ONDOO OHONDE

It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will that we regret to inform you of the passing on of Helda Ondoo Ohonde.

Beloved Wife of Major (Rtd) Vitalis Owoko Ohonde. Daughter of the late Charles Oloo Meso and the late Magdalina Abuoro. Daughter-in-law of the late Joseph Ohonde and the late Hellena lmbaya. Sister-in-law of William Ohonde, among others. Mother of Dr. John C Odour (Botswana) and Margaret Akai (UK), Florence Akinyi (I&M Bank) and Mbaga Muckoya (USA), Rebecca Ohonde and George Yala (Sudan), the late Gladys and the late Ken Opande, Eng. Daniel Ohonde and Dr. Caroline Omondi, Colleta Atieno (Co-op Bank) and David Owak, George Otieno, Raymond and Tonya Ohonde (USA), Moureen Owoko (Canada). Sister of Susannah Were, Veronica, Anna Wanyande, Adipo and Odeya. Aunt of Pamela Steele (UK), Dr Col. K’Onyango (UN Sudan), Alfred C Odhiambo, Lida Okado, Beatrice Ofwona, Veronica Odhiambo, Hellen Mwoma, Hellen Boris (USA), among others.

She was richly Blessed with twenty-five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

The body is at Umash Funeral Home. A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday 14th July, 2021, at The Shrine of Mary Help of Christians – Don Bosco Upper Hill, at 9.30am.

Funeral Mass and Burial will be on Saturday 17th July, 2021 at her home in Uboro, Siranga, Simur Sub-location, Ugenya. All Covid-19 Protocols will be strictly adhered to.
