It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of our beloved father, Henry Mutuku Kasyoka Wambua. He passed away on Saturday, 9th May 2020 at Ruai Family Health Specialist Hospital where he was undergoing treatment in the Intensive Care Unit, after suffering a stroke.

He was husband of Sabina Kasyoka, a devoted father of Francis Mbuvi Mutuku (World Food Programme), the late Bernard Mutuku (Kenya Air Force), Elizabeth Mutuku (China Garden) and Eric Kasyoka Wambua (European Union). He was father-in-law of Glenna Kemunto and Sarah Wanjiku (ILRI), and loving grandfather of Angela, Sweeny, Austin and Ephrem. Son of the late Peter Kasyoka and late Elizabeth Wanza Kasyoka, loving brother of the late Rachel Mukei, the late Stephen Nzioki, the late Mutua Kasyoka, and Nzilani Ngunia. Henry was an in-law of Moses Nyaigoti and Julia Nyaigoti, and James Thotho and Mary Thotho. He was also an uncle and a friend to many.

Henry was a farmer, and a former staff of CARE International in Kenya. His resilience and dedication to his work inspired everyone around him, more so, his family.

Due to the current COVID-19 Pandemic, his burial ceremony will be held privately on Tuesday 19th May 2020, at his family home in Nguluni, Machakos County.
