HILDA WANGARI GETHENJI

It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mrs Hilda Wangari Gethenji from an illness bravely borne.

She was the daughter of the late Dishon Gitahi and Salome Waigumo.Wife of the the late Hon. Joseph Augustine Gethenji. Mother to Bob Marekia Gethenji, Gitahi Gethenji, Hon. Ndungu Gethenji and Moses Karanja Gethenji. Mother in law to Farida Ndungu, Joan Marekia, Winnie Gitahi and Wambui Karanja. Grandmother to many. She was a Sister to the late Francis Mwangi, Catherine Kuria, Bernadette Wanjiru, Dick Kabukuru Mutothori.

The family is meeting at her home 24 Kigwa Rd. Ridgeways for funeral arrangements.

There shall be a service at the residence on Friday, 25th September 2020 at 2pm. Followed by a Requiem mass on Monday, 28th September 2020 at 2 pm at Consolata Shrine, Westlands.

The burial will take place at the family’s Kingongo home in Nyeri County on Tuesday, 29th September 2020. A Detailed announcement shall be made on Monday 28th September 2020.

She lived a full life and will be remembered fondly by all her family and friends.
