HON. CECILY MUTITU MURIUKI
Born: 7th July 1968 – Rested: 9th January 2024
It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we regret to announce promotion to glory of Hon. Cecily Mutitu Muriuki who rested on 9th January 2024 at Avenue Hospital.
She was beloved wife to Dominic Muriuki (Wakili) of DI & Muriuki Advocates. Mum to the late Roy Macharia Muriuki (Captain) and Ron Munene Muriuki (Engineer-KUAT).
She is the beloved daughter of the late Henry Mbogo and the late Catherine Rukunyi. She is a sister to Margery Njuthe (Kina), Gituku Maina, Irene Maitha, Francis Oundo, Linet Marigu, Johanna Thiong’o, Jane Wanja, Betty Wawira, Robinson Mbogo, Eva Mukami, Rey. Peterson Kithaka, James Murathi and Milka Murathi. She is a cousin to many in Mukangu and Rwika.
She is daughter in law of Johnson Muriuki and Olida Kanyiva of Kauraciri-Mayori village. Sister in-law to Albert Nyaga Muriuki, Evaline Muthoni, Grace Wanjiru, Paul Mwangi, Nicasio Njagi, Flora Mbuya, Janifer Muriuki, Benjamin Kagundu, Beth Muthoni, Leonard Mwaniki, Hellen Micere, Gitongah (Kimberly), Judy Muriuki, Eng. Pius Ndege, Charity Muriuki, Nathan Ireri, Josphat Muriuki and Jackline Wawira.
Prayers and meetings are being held at All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi from 5-8pm on Tuesdays and Fridays and at their rural home in Kauraciri-Mayori village.
The cortege will leave Avenue Hospital Nairobi on 02/02/2024 for the funeral ceremony at Mayori ACK Church and thereafter burial at their home in Kauraciri, Kithunthiri Location, Mavuria Ward, Mbeere South Sub County, Embu
County.
