IAN JAMES MBURU

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Ian James Mburu, who worked in Doha, Qatar. He leaves behind a legacy of love and generosity.

Beloved son of Mr and Mrs Bosco and Lucy Mburu of Burns Paper House. Brother to Ivy Waithera and Stanley Njindo.

Grandson to the late Mr and Mrs Mburu Rebiro of Maragua and the late Mr and Mrs Stanley Njindo of Kahuhia.

Brother-in-law to Eric Macharia.

Uncle to Jabali and Tatiana.

Cousin to Liza, Njeri among others.

Nephew to Mr and Mrs Kahugu, Nyokabi, Catherine, Judy, Grace, Stanley among others. A friend to many.

Prayers and funeral arrangements are being held daily at Homeland Lounge along Thika Super Highway from 6:00pm.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday 4th October, 2023 at the Mburu’s family home in Maragua.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home, Kabati on Friday 6th October, 2023 at 7:30am for a funeral service at Trinity School, Maragua, Murang’a County at 9.30am thereafter to be laid to rest in Maragua family farm, next to Trinity School.
