Death and Funeral Announcement of Ms. Irene Ndungwa

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Ms. Irene Ndungwa, on 15th, March 2020 after a short illness, bravely borne at Nairobi West Hospital.

Beloved wife of Ezekiel Kitungu Mwangangi of NG-CDF North Imenti. Loving mother of Tashley Neema, Adriel Bahati and Ashley Rehema. Co-wife of Mercy Mueni. Stepmother of Terryann Pendo, Tattiann Amani, & Triann Rehema. Daughter-in-law of Mzee Daniel Mwangangi Mang’ara (Businessman Mwingi Town) and the late Mrs. Agnes Mang’ara arid stepdaughter of Wambui Mwangangi (Mwingi Level 4 Hospital). Daughter of the late Muthoka Mwinzi and Mukai Muthoka.

Sister-in-law of Benjamin Mang’ara, Hon. Irene Kasalu (MP Kitui County), Joshua Mumo, Ann Mwangangi, Miriam Muko, Solomon Musyoki, Janet Muko, Simon Kinyanjui & Eric Mwendwa. Sister of Stephen Kasina, Henry Kimongo, Kakwasi, Veronica, Pst Salome, Ruth and Dorcas. Niece of Nzaghi Mang’ara, Maluki Mang’ara (Snr. Chief Kanzanzu Location), Nduti Mang’ara (Ministry of Devolution), Solomon Kitungu, (Principal Secretary, Transport), Anthony Kitungu (KenGen), Stephen Kitungu (SC Dir. Edu Yatta), Paul Kitungu (US. The family is accepting contributions to cover medical expenses with a main collection via Mpesa scheduled on Thursday 26th, March 2020.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on 28th March, 2020 for burial at Kalisasi home, Mwingi Central Sub-County in Kitui County. Due to the prevailing situation in the country, this ceremony will be by invitation only.
