Irene Wangui Wamithi

It is with the acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden loss of our beloved Irene Wangui Wamithi, fondly referred to as Kui, on Tuesday 5th, May 2020. Kui hailed from Kihunguru Karangatha, South Kinangop, Nyandarua County.

Kui was the dearly loved daughter of Mr. Robert Wamithi and Mrs. Lucy Mukami Wamithi. Much-loved sister of Dr. Susan Wamithi-Gitao, Anne Wamithi – Muchene, Dr. Nancy Wamithi – Okanga and Duncan Mutahi. Dear grand-daughter of the late Duncan Mutahi and the late Jedidah Wanjiru Mutahi and the late Danson Ndungu and Jerioth Ndungu.

Cherished sister-in-law of Sospeter Gitao, Simon Muchene and Dr. Benjamin Okanga. Adored Aunty of Karanja Muchene, Cole Okanga and Karani Gitao. Precious niece of Ephraim Ndambi, Milka Gathoni Kuria, the late Nderitu Mutahi, the late Rachel Gicheru, Jane Mumbi, Esther Wanjiru, Daniel Njoroge, Ruth Wangechi, Florence Waithera and Regina Wanjiru. Treasured cousin and esteemed friend to many.

The family will be holding a private funeral service to celebrate the life of Kui on Wednesday, 13th May 2020 at their home in Kihunguru Karangatha, South Kinangop, Nyandarua County.

A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered. You responded to your calling, finished your race and kept the faith!
